- John Picacio, for his kind words in a recent Clarkesworld interview

Congratulations! You deserve it! This is definitely one of the best images in SF in the past few years, just beautiful. I sincerely hope you win! I hope you don't mind, I dropped your name when I recently contacted F&SF about my portfolio. I just said I loved your work and felt encouraged by you to pursue new avenues. I received a very nice, prompt response from the editor saying they like my work but are booked cover-wise for the next while. That's the kind of rejection I can live with.
WOW! This is one of the best compliments I've been receiving about an illustration of mine. I believe I'll use your passage as a quotation when I'll remake my website in the future (with the due credits, of course!) :-)
Eric, your Art is undoubtedly appealing and I perceive positive energies move around you. In my opinion, it's just a matter of time and patience...
As an advice, contacting big names in the fantastic field, you could create striking promotional pieces tuned to their editorial line. In the past, I did it...and, bang on!...I got some contracts! :-)

...oh, don't worry about me, I'm really an open-minded artist!
The Muse be with you, fellow!
This may be my favorite piece you've ever done. It's phenomenal. Good luck in the Chesleys!
Hi Maurizio! I'm experimenting with digital work on my blog and I'd love your thoughts.
Thanks for the call, Eric!
I'm out of office lost in the surrounding mountains, but I should be back within the weekend... and first thing first I'll run to check your Blog! :-)
Soon,
Maurizio
